ABOUT NICOLE

Nicole is in Marryatville High School and has won numerous first prizes in the Adelaide Eisteddfod, including the winner of The David Bishop Cello Medallion and on flute the Ray Rosser Memorial Award. With a heart full of passion and a deep love to music, Nicole pours her soul into every performance, connecting with audiences through the power of music. With every note she plays, she invites listeners into her world, sharing her emotions, experiences, and love for music. Music isn’t just something she does—it’s a fundamental part of who she is, fuelling her creativity, inspiring her growth, and bringing joy to her life and those around her.

ABOUT ANDREW

Andrew Miao is eight years old. He started piano lessons at the age of 4 with Mr Yong Cheong Lye, and is currently under the tutelage of Dr. Debra Andreacchio. As a year 3 student, he was awarded the Bright Futures Scholarship at St Andrew’s School.For the past three consecutive years, Andrew has been awarded first prize in the 7-year-old-and-under category at the Adelaide Eisteddfods. In 2022, he was awarded first prize in the AES 16-year-old-and-under Concerto Division. Andrew was invited to perform in the Junior Showcase at the 2023 Piano Day at Elder Conservatorium led by Prof. Anna Goldsworthy. Andrew has a creative approach to music making and likes performance on the stage in both concerts and competitions. He has enjoyed preparing Prokofiev’s complete Op 65 Music for Children that explores a broad spectrum of a child’s experiences and emotions.
