ABOUT Charlie
Charlie Makaev is a current student in his 2nd year at the University of Adelaide, commencing studies in the advanced stream for his “Bachelor of Music,” majoring in bass trombone under the tutelage of Howard Parkinson and Dr Emma Gregan. So far in his journey, Charlie has had the opportunity to perform with prestigious ensembles across Australia such as the ANJO Youth Big Band in Sydney, Elder Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra and Wind Orchestra, Adelaide Wind Orchestra, and the Woodville Concert Band.
