ABOUT Emily
Emily Wu is a 14-year-old student at St P eter’s Girls’ School and is preparing for her AMusA Piano Exam under Monika Laczofy OAM. She has been studying music since the age of 5 and currently learns piano, cello and clarinet. Last year, she achieved a High Distinction in her Certificate of Performance Piano Exam and this year, a High Distinction in her Certificate of Performance Clarinet Exam. Emily also participates in school orchestras, bands, string ensembles, and choirs. She has also participated in many Eisteddfod competitions.  

ABOUT Phillip
Born in 2014, Phillip Yufu Cheng learnt singing at 6 from Elsa Tian (later Jessica Dean). Since  age of 7, he was a chorister and soloist of St Peter’s Cathedral. He’s won numerous top awards in 2024/2025 Adelaide Eisteddfod vocal, 2025 the Grace Barbara Turner Awards for Excellence in Performance (Vocal), Winner of 5mbs Young Virtuoso Award (YVA) vocal section, and he is the youngest performer and winner in the history of YVA. He performed with SA State Opera in Magic Flute as 1st spirit, performed with ASO in 2023 Christmas Unwrapped as soloist singing “Walking in the Air”. 

ABOUT Yifei (Evelyn)
Yifei Chong is an accomplished pianist. She graduated with a Master of Music in Piano Performance from the Elder Conservatorium of Music, under the guidance of Vivian Choi Milton. She holds a Bachelor and Masters degree in Piano Performance from the Xinghai Conservatory of Music in Guangzhou, China.

The winner of many prizes and awards, Yifei was recently awarded the Lunch Hour Award by Recital Australia in 2023 Spring Season and was the recipient of the prestigious Nati onal Scholarship in China in recognition of her academic and musical excellence. As a collaborative pianist, Yifei has extensive experience working across vocal and instrumental settings. She has accompanied performers in the Vocal, String and Brass Divisions of the Adelaide Eisteddfod, and previously served as a staff accompanist at Xinghai Conservatory of Music in China.
