About Federico and Gioia
Gioia Barbera was born in Rome, Italy, on February 3, 2001. She began studying piano at the age of 7 with M° Eleonora Orlando. She has been awarded with many prizes over the years: Second Prize 91/100, VI International Piano Competition “Città di Acquaviva delle Fonti”, Bari (2022); First Prize 99/100, 13° International Competition “Francavilla Fontana-Città degli imperiali”, Brindisi (2022); Second Prize,
International Competition “Alpin Triglav”, (Slovenia 2022); First Prize, VIII International Art Contest Adria Art Fest (Slovenia 2021); First Prize 100/100, International Music Competition “Gianni Rodari”, Verbania (2021); First Prize 96/100, International Music Competition “Città di Fasano”, Brindisi (2021), Milano (2021); Special Prize, Ise Shima International Competition for Young Musician (Japan 2021), and many others.
She has performed in festivals, organised by Santa Cecilia Conservatory of Rome and other public organizations, in several concert halls in Italy and abroad: Auditorium San Domenico, Foligno; Academic Hall, Conservatorio Santa Cecilia, Rome; Palazzo Piacentini, San Benedetto del Tronto; Tempio San Giovanni Battista, and more.
In July 2021, she graduated from Rome Conservatory obtaining the First Level Piano Academic Degree, with the highest marks. She is currently completing her Second Level Piano Academic Degree at the “Licinio Recife” Conservatory, Frosinone, under the guidance of M° Giorgia Tomassi.
Federico Bucaioni was born in 1993, he began his studies with M° Lucia Bonfiglio. In 2020, he graduated at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory, under the teaching of Maestro Riccardo Marini and Maestro Laura Mattei with the highest marks. He has performed in prestigious venues in Italy and abroad, such as Palazzo Leti Sansi in Spoleto, Villa San Giacomo in Santa Margherita Ligure, Teatro Accademia etc. In 2021 as a grand prize winner, he was invited to play in Slovenia at the grand Hotel Toplice, in Bled, where he played pieces of Scarlatti, Beethoven and Liszt.
He has been awarded with many prizes over the years: Grand Prix at the “Alpin Triglav International Competition,” First Prize at the first edition of “Francavilla Fontana Piano Competition” (invited to give Concerts as a first prize winner), First Prize at the IV edition of International Piano Competition “Melos” in Rome, First Prize at the 12th international music competition “Città degli Imperiali” , First Prize at the “VIII Rome international Music Competition”, First prize at the “VI International art competition Rogaska”, Second prize at the X International Music Competition Amigdala “Giuseppe Raciti Memorial” etc.
Since 2022 he has been directed from M° H.U.Passarella performing works of Luis Bacalov, J. Lamarque Pons, G.Matos Rodriguez and M° Passarella himself, starting an artistic collaboration that still goes on today.
