ABOUT MARIA
Beginning her pianistic training at the age of 4, Maria Tynan grew up in Leeton NSW, before relocating to Adelaide to study classical performance under Lucinda Collins at Elder Conservatorium. Since the move, she has been awarded numerous prestigious scholarships and prizes, participated in masterclasses with international artists, and enjoys performing as a soloist and collaborative pianist.
In September of 2026, Maria travelled to Germany for the International Mendelssohn Festival summer course at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg, to study with prestigious pedagogues and artists, Annika Treutler and Hubert Rutkowski.
