ABOUT Nguyen Yen Nhi Luong
Nhi is currently in her 3rd year, studying a Bachelor of Music in Elder Conservatorium. She has finished 9 years of Piano Performance’s Diploma at the Vietnamese National Academy of music. In 2018, Nhi was awarded the fourth prize of Steinway International Piano Competion and the Toyota Scholarship for young talent. While studying in Elder Conservatorium, she has been awarded 5 prizes for a student who has excelled in performance.
ABOUT Maria Tynan
A third year student at Elder Conservaotrium, Maria hails from the rural NSW town of Leeton. After studying with local teachers and at the Riverina Conservatorium of Music, she commenced her undergraduate studies with Lucinda Collins in 2024. Since moving to Adelaide, Maria has been awarded numerous scholarships and prizes for her artistry. She hopes to continue her studies overseas in the future.
Maria and Nhi enjoy working collaboratively with each other, having established themselves as a piano duo earlier this year.
