About Ania

Ania is currently a Year 10 student. Her love for the cello began at six, inspired by Hideko Ise’s book called “1000 Cellos”. She quickly fell in love with the deep and resonant tones the cello produced.
Since then, music has become an integral part of her life. She performs in her school’s string ensembles and is a proud member of the Adelaide Youth Orchestra. She has enjoyed participating in school cabarets and musicals, taking part in ABODA events, and performing in the orchestra’s regular concerts. Through these experiences, she discovered the joy of making music with others and creating something harmonious.
These opportunities have not only helped her refine her musical skills but have also deepened her connection to both the cello and the music she plays. Her appreciation for cello continues to grow as she embraces the challenges of learning new repertoire and sharing it with audiences. She is aiming towards the Certificate of Performance of AMEB this year.
She believes that music has the power to bring joy, comfort, and connection. She hopes to use her music to spread happiness and to let the rich voice of the cello resonate in the hearts of those who hear it.
