About James
James studies piano with Monika Laczofy OAM and clarinet with Darren Skelton. He has achieved his A.Mus.A (Clarinet) and Certificate of Performance (Piano), and is working towards his A.Mus.A (Piano) and L.Mus. (Clarinet). James won the Adelaide Eisteddfod Concerto Competition and the Metropolitan Male Choir Scholarship in 2022. James will perform Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto with the Unley Symphony Orchestra in May 2023, and in June will perform Rossini’s Introduction, Theme & Variations as guest soloist with the Norwood Symphony Orchestra. In 2022, as a year 10 student, James studied Year 12 Music Performance Solo and Year 12 Music Performance Ensemble, achieving Merit Awards in both.

About Jamie
Jamie began piano lessons aged 14, completing an Honours Degree in Piano Performance at the Elder Conservatorium before further postgraduate study at the Martinu Academy in Prague and the Musikhochschule Freiburg. Jamie has presented concerts in over 15 countries, and was employed as staff accompanist to the cello class of Raphael Wallfisch at the Musikhochschule Zurich/Winterthur. He is an established and experienced chamber musician, accompanist, teacher, instrumental and vocal coach. He has performed with the Adelaide and Sydney Symphony Orchestras, for Recitals Australia, UKARIA Cultural Centre, the Adelaide Festival, Melbourne and Adelaide Fringe Festivals, live broadcasts on ABC Classic FM and Southwest Radio Germany, and has collaborated with (among others) the State Opera of South Australia, Adelaide Chamber Singers, The Firm, and the State Theatre Company.

Tickets for each recital concert are $10 per person, or you can consider a full-year subscription for only $200. The subscription includes all Lunch Hour Series recitals for the year, the Finals, all guest recitals and the mid-year lunch recitals held at the North Adelaide Baptist Church Hall.
